So why a Butterfly?

During one of our board meetings, it was decided that we needed a logo. We wanted something that would represent us in a unique way and speak clearly about what we are doing. A couple days later, God woke me up early in the morning and flooded my mind with the details of this butterfly. There is a lot of symbolism here. Like relationships between humans, we don’t see unique qualities until we get closer. Let’s look closer, shall we? Are you aware that the color purple represents domestic violence? Did you notice the body of the butterfly is made up of a semi colon? Make it a little bigger, get a little closer. The circle in the top of the semi colon has a heart in it, and the bottom comma has a cross in it. In this case, the semicolon is used to represent the end of an old life and the metamorphosis of a new life, symbolized by the butterfly, caused by love (the heart) and faith (the cross). Now look even closer. Make the wing bigger. You will see that inside the wing of the butterfly is a blessing, which repeats, over and over again (Numbers 6:24-26). People are getting a blessing without even knowing it. Isn’t that amazing!
